Nice Beaver - On Dry Land - Special Edition (2002) Holadnski progressive rock bend osnovan 1997. godine. 2001. godine. izdali su svoj prvi demo album koji je imao vrlo pozitivne kritike u najpoznatijem holandskom muzickom casopisu. Ovde imate kao bonus dve pesme (08 i 09) sa tog albuma. Kao sto je jedan kriticar rekao: " ovo je izvrstan gulas rock, pop, new wawe, prog i konzervativne simphonic muzike. To je bend koji obecava sa puno dobrih i svezih ideja " Moj prijatelj @radioholik, koga ja cesto pominjem kada hocu da opisem neko mudroserenje, ima obicaj da kaze da je progressiv tako predvidiv i da se uvek zna sta ce se desiti, ovoga puta nije imao nikakvu zamerku slusajuci ovaj album, cak mu se na momente i svideo. Ja onda moram da konstatujem da kada se takvom muzickom namcoru nesto dopadne onda stvarno i vredi. Prodikcija je vrlo moderna i cista a NB je zaista vrlo zanimljiv bend. Ako ste ljubitelj zvuka 70-tih a produkcije 90-tih, onda je ovaj album prava stvar za vas. Mozda ce vas stil podsetiti na neke bendove koje ste vec culi, ali to je dovoljan razlog da ovaj CD imate u svojoj kolekciji. Chick Corea - Piano Improvizations ( 2 CD) (1970-1972) This is three Corea solo piano albums, from 1971 and 1983, reissued as a box, the first pieces being recorded for ECM when the pianist was still at work in the adventurous free-jazz group Circle. The 1983 music is from Corea's Children's Songs album. The beautifully performed 1971 music aside, this collection is a fascinating piece of history, because it was ECM boss Manfred Eicher's idea to reignite a solo piano jazz-improv tradition more or less abandoned since the era of Art Tatum and Errol Garner, and he asked Corea, Paul Bley, and Keith Jarrett to attempt it. A 27-year-old Corea got there first – it would be another year before Bley recorded Open, to Love, and another four before Jarrett's huge Köln Concert hit. Prototypes of Corea's Latin-inflected Return to Forever music are plentiful (Sometime Ago makes its debut here); the second album has a version of Monk's Trinkle Tinkle in which Corea's free-jazz links are reflected in the bold stretching of the song shape; and though the Children's Songs have a tendency to coyness compared with the liquid fluency of the early material, it's a pretty special set. Trum med Morgan Agren Morgan Agren (born 1967) is a Swedish drummer who plays with the progressive rock band Kaipa. A native of Umea, Norrland, Morgan Agren was spotted as an outstanding talent at a young age as he began performing publicly at age seven, and eventually joined forces with Mats Öberg in 1981. They later formed "Zappsteetoot" together in 1984, a band internationally known for performing Frank Zappa's music. In 1988, at the age of 20, Morgan Agren was, along with Mats Öberg, invited by Frank Zappa to do a guest performance at Zappa's Stockholm concert. Impressed by Agren's skills, Zappa invited Agren to the States to partake in several projects, including the 1994 Grammy Award winning CD, Zappa's Universe, with Steve Vai as well as a sold out New York performance of Zappa's classical program at Lincoln Center's Great Performers Series in Avery Fisher Hall. Agren also shares the drummer's seat with Terry Bozzio on Dweezil Zappa's album Shampoohorn. In 1996, Agren has toured throughout Europe as a member of Glen Hughes band, and later to Japan in 1997. 1996 also saw the formation of Morgan Agren's own record label, Ultimate Audio Entertainment, dedicated to the release of "new" music. Agren has recorded several albums as a member of Fleshquartet (Swedish: Fläskkvartetten), amongst them the Grammy Award winning Goodbye Sweden and Flow (Award for Best Album 1993) in addition to his international performances with Zappa’s Universe and with Mats Öberg in Mats/Morgan Band. In May 1997, Agren was featured in a unique project of the Swedish Film Institute, making his debut in movie theaters and at several international film festivals. Described as a sound experience, the 4-minute 35mm short-film Lullaby for Lost Souls showcases him in "a free-form Stereo Dolby drum explosion". Agren is also highly recognized by fans of extreme and heavy music for his studio performance on Fredrik Thordendal's solo album, Sol Niger Within, released in 1997.
